Pental countertops come in polished, honed and satin finishes. Polished countertops are the easiest to maintain because they are the most resistant to stains, fingerprints and other surface marks. Honed and satin finishes may show marks more easily and could require more frequent cleaning and diligent maintenance. Over time, honed and satin finishes may also develop a patina that is unique to the client.
Pental quartz countertops are primarily available in gray, black, white, cream, off-white and beige/sandy colors.
Pental is designed to be highly durable. It is scratch resistant and resistant to high heat and exposure to chemicals, however, it is not scratch-proof, heat-proof or chemical-proof. It does need to be protected through good maintenance practices.
You can see Pental in the showroom at Seacoast Stone, or check Pental’s website.
Quartz surfaces like Pental are best when used indoors. Outside, Pental can fade when exposed to direct sunlight. When using Pental outdoors, install Pental in a covered, protected space.
Cambria is maintenance-free and requires no sealing or polishing, ever! To keep clean, simply mix a little warm water and mild soap to wipe the surface clean with a soft sponge or cloth.
To keep your Cambria kitchen and bathroom countertops looking their best, never use bleach, abrasive powders or scrubbing pads. In addition, never apply any sealers, penetrants or topical treatments to Cambria as they will cause the surface to appear dull or inconsistent. If you wish to use a cleaner for things like dried-on spills, see our list of approved cleaners.
